Tokyo? No! Berlin! It is Fashion Week and there is fashion on and off catwalks all over town. This is a pop-up art installation in a grafitti-covered storefront on spunky Tor Strasse in the Mitte district by the cult sneaker label “Asics”. Featured is the Onitsuka Tiger directional collection and, shown here, two models from the Okatabi range in the the Aisen collection. Note the split toe: this is a “tabi” traditional shoe, also worn by martial arts practitioners.

Good to know about the “tabi” traditional shoe along with the photograph.

A unique travel blog
Hi,
This is a wonderful blog! It was a very good read.
I was wondering if you would be interested in guest blogging on my blog.
Good day,
i had found your Blog through Mary and Leo’s A-List Club. I’m a relatively new member.
Onitsuka Tigers are great shoes! They are worn by many in Hamburg.
I like, what you have; I’m particularly interested in Germany, especially the island Ruegen north of Berlin.
Haven’t been to Ruegen – yet! But no doubt will, one day…
